Free Dump Week is back November 9–14 at the Apache Junction Landfill, 4050 S. Tomahawk Road. Hours are 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Saturday.
AJ residents get one load up to 500 pounds free — one pickup truck bed per household. Bring proof of residency, like a water bill. Heads up: if your load weighs more than 500 pounds, you pay the regular price for the whole load, not just the overage.
Hard hats and vests are required at the landfill. Bring your own or buy a set on-site for under $15.
Questions: call the landfill at (602) 237-2078.
